This is a super shiong week.

Sun: SCM at 730am + Wedding dinner at night
I sent my car for servicing yesterday afternoon at Lavender. It was raining cats n dogs. After that, Sam and I took a bus to Kallang MRT Stn where we had the Jln Sultan Prawn Mee for lunch. Sam was pretty fascinated by the colorful bus we took and she talked about it so loudly on the bus much to my embarassment as some people heard her. They must've thought she just came to Spore from Msia or sth. The prawn mee was superb as usual but Sam prefers the Zion market one. It was raining heavily and we had to walk around with an umbrella. It sucked getting splashed because of the way Sam walks plus some lorry nearly splashed some water on us too. Then, we took a train to Expo. It was astonishingly fast. However, Sam had to keep commenting that the buildings from Aljunied to Eunos stretch looked like those in Malaysia. What a swakoopod. Finally we got to Expo and we had to queue for 1.5hrs. What the heck is wrong with ppl? Still got Fri and Sat to collect mar, come so early for wad sia. On a sidenote, I look f-ing fit in the singlet, or so I think. So for those of you who kept saying that I've slimmed down until I'm uglily skinny, lets see you wear the singlet man.
Ok back to bball. I've been taking part in the inter-meeneestry bball competition. We got trashed by poo-lease last week. However, we won our Wed match and we still can proceed to the semis as runner-up in our prelim group. Then we heard that poo-lease got disqualified cos they had a national player in the team. Apparently the rules state that national team players are not supposed to play. So their bball manager admitted graciously "that it was an honest mistake and we should move on" a-la their beloved Mr Wong. So they got disqualified and we got promoted to top of the prelim group. But we weren't the ones who complained!
This got me thinking. Is this a very true reflection of Spore's public service sector? The law enforcers breaking the law themselves. Plus the rest of the meeneestries just kept quiet and waited for each other to do something about it (launch a protest in this case). Cock sia.
