October has been a rather sucky month. I'm so glad that today is the last day. Yeah, I agree that there's not much humour and wit in my posts nowadays. Perhaps it is time to close this blog.
I was talking to one of my colleagues who is going to retire next year. He is really old la. Already a grandfather but he is still working. I told him that whats the point of working till so old. And he totally agrees with me. I quote him - "the more you work, the earlier you'll die".
Now, this is a dilemma to me. I don't really wanna live till too old. But I don't really wanna work till old either in order to die earlier. That is why we should all support Doctor Deaths. Singapore should make it legal for doctors to help you die should you consent to it. Instead of debating about repealling the ASS 377a. Its really funny how they choose the numbering for this legislation. s377a. Very funny. I didn't know there is such humour in Singapore's legislation. I shall explain why by rearranging it.
(Ass)3>> a. s377 is a representation of one guy. His ass, 3 looks like the balls, and 77 when written as >> looks like the dick. a, if u look closely, looks like the ass of another guy facing another guy's 377. Well done Singapore legislation!
On a side note, I keep dreaming about someone holding a piece of white paper with something written on it. But I can't see shit. Maybe I should wear my specs to bed. Or go for lasik soon. I strongly believe its some toto or 4d number which I've been praying so hard for. Every night before toto or 4d I will have that dream. I hope the god or goddess who is showing me the paper doesn't get fed up with me. Maybe I should pray for perfect vision in my dreams as well.
As usual, my life is monotonous.
Current fave is to play the fruit machines at NUSS GuildhouseS. Kent Ridge, Suntec, and Adam Park. Haven't been to Adam Park's yet though. Well, I'm paying the entrance fee and monthly fee so might as well milk their fruit machines dry right? Kaoz, if I knew that NUS has a fruit machine room, I would probably have signed up for NUSS even before I grad. Such an easy way to pass time. And there's free food too. The tea's nice, the food's good, some of the people are nice. But I don't see any fresh grads or ppl who've graduate the past few years there.
I think I'm becoming the new biao di. Joining the old folks for leisure pastime activities. Just that I hang out in NUSS fruit machine rooms instead of geylang. =P
Everyday I see the Knight Frank girls from level 6 of the same office building as mine. Some are quite ok looking I must say.
Maybe I should've joined Knight Frank instead. Sometimes its really not about the pay. Its about job satisfaction. And what other satisfaction beats seeing pretty girls at work?
I gotta bear this in mind for future job search. Perhaps Poly lecturer? Haha!
