I thought I saw a helping hand. But when that hand gave up on me, half of me gave up on myself as well.
Where is the helping hand that I so desperately seek?

Have you ever played the game 'Space Invaders' before?

For those who vaguely remember, there is no time limit in this game. You advance to the next stage when you manage to kill all the invaders. As you go on to the next stage, the invaders move one row down, nearer towards you. So this game just keeps going on until you die; in other words, you won't win.
Currently, my life feels like this game. I just keep shooting at the invaders and trying to kill them. But the invaders just keep coming. All I get is to try to beat my previous high score. There is no winning. Its just a matter of time before I lose. And then someone else will take over the game. Bah.

Do Christians download pirated music?
This question popped up inside my head during tutorial today 'cos we were discussing about how it is quite hard to change people's attitudes towards downloading pirated music.
It seems that even though people know that downloading pirated music is wrong, they still go ahead for many reasons. It is free, it is readily available, it doesn't feel so wrong.. or does it?
I'm sure we've all seen the advertisment that says 'you wouldn't steal from blah blah blah, you wouldn't steal a blah blah blah, piracy is stealing blah blah blah blah blah..'
Since we all know that downloading pirated music and movies and tv shows is piracy, and piracy is equivalent to stealing, so then do Christians download pirated music or movies or stuff?
I bet you that they do. Just because it is not so frown upon by the society thats why Christians continue to download. Should one day people's attitudes change towards piracy, I tell you, the pastor will start preaching about it for weeks and ban their church followers from downloading. 'Cos to them, it is about doing the right thing in God's eyes.
But, what constitutes to the so-called God's eyes? God, here, seems to be just the general public's upright opinion about a certain matter. Do you think God approves of piracy?
Doesn't this tells you so much about the many Christian beliefs? And how they originated? The 7 deadly sins. Think again. Are they really that sinful? If so, isn't piracy equivalent to any of the 7?
I'm so disillusioned.. muahahahahaha

On the second day of Chinese New Year, I woke up to a "pleasant" surprise at 9am. The front right tyre of my car was punctured! Apparently it had "stepped" onto a nail and the tyre was totally deflated. I was so pissed that I didn't even feel like going for the "Dong Dong Chiang" at WC's place at 11am. Eventually I went cos they psycho-ed me into thinking that no tyre shop will be open on the second day of CNY and Pussyjus offered to come and pick me up.
Having a flat tyre is quite a must-have experience for all drivers I guess. I learnt how to use those lousy DIY car-jack. I learnt how to change tyre. And I learnt that most cars now do not carry a spare tyre which is the same size as their current tires. Go check the spare tyre in your car to find out! It is in fact a small ugly black tyre which has a sticker on it saying "DO NOT EXCEED 80km/h. PLEASE CHANGE TO A NEW TYRE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE".
Luckily my dad went past a petrol station at AMK with a tyre shop which was opened. So after the "Dong Dong Chiang", I came home and drove at 60km/h to the petrol station. The spare tyre didn't give me too much assurance to drive faster than that cos it just felt damn weird. And so, the Indian mechanic helped me patch up the hole. Then he told me that I can carry on using the tyre until the tyre threads are worn out. I was like 'huhhhhhhhh...'. No way was I gonna risk my own safety so on the fourth day of CNY I went to Poh Heng at AMK ave 10 to change my tires. I changed from 14" to 15".. and so I got myself new rims as well.
Here's my old tires..

The empress's new shoes!

Yes I'm a gold digga'!

I guess 'cos the shop's name is Poh Heng, I started thinking bout jewellery and so I bought gold rims. Now I think they are too xialan. Everybody say I very beng. Sigh. To which, I can only sing Lee Hom's english song "I'm not your average gangster"..
