Enough is enough.
Why are people so fearful of everything? They are scared that they will get lousy grades, they are worried that money no enough, they are afraid that the govt don't wanna upgrade their HDB flats if they vote for the opposition party, they fear death, and they are even more terrified of what's gonna happen after they die.
Don't they realise that by behaving like a wuss, it makes it so much simpler for others to use fear as a weapon against them? As seen in many movies and even real life, fear is the ultimate weapon which one can use to take over the world. I'm not exaggerating. Just think Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, that bastard Yamashita, Dr Evil from Austin Powers, Darth Sidious, etc. Even Master Yoda says, "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."
So why let people play on our fears? What if the fear wasn't inborn but it was inculcated into us? Doesn't that show that someone is trying to manipulate us by playing on our fear? So why succumb to it? I'm not saying that I'm a fearless person (no, I'm not Jet Li). I just question the ways people deal with their fears.
Doesn't anyone live for the moment anymore?

I was watching Fernando Alonso dominate the Australian Grand Prix this afternoon. It ended at 2 plus and I had to go on a site visit for one of my countless projects this sem.
Somehow I began daydreaming, perhaps due to the lack of sleep, and thought that I was driving a car with a 3 litre V10 engine. On TV, Alonso's car could hit 19000 rpm. I reved super hard and could only manage a mere 4000 rpm at most. I figured that I kept reving hard today 'cos I was inspired by F1 racing. That is not very fuel efficient.. tsktsk.
And then, it started raining when I was going home after my site visit. I remembered the F1 cars doing this quick zig zagging motion to warm their tires. Tires, apparently, have a better grip when its warmed up. And so do the brakes and suspension. I started thinking, "Hey i need to warm my tires too 'cos the rain causes my tires to have less grip." I started zig zagging on the road. *LOL*
Thus, I conclude that I will never attempt to drive immediately after watching F1 Grand Prix on Starsports. I think they left out the "Kids, please do not try this at home" warning before the programme started.

NEWSFLASH:
Blundering-ryn strikes again and again
Orchard - Singapore was hit by a new criminal,
blundering-ryn, today. Alex, 23, was queuing up at the atm machine at the dbs centre Liat Tower when
blundering-ryn struck. According to the many eye witnesses,
blundering-ryn opened a bottle of pepsi while she was standing beside alex. The whole bottle exploded and alex's birkis were drenched in pepsi. The victim, alex, said: "wahlan eh sim tia (heartache). this pair is genuine birkis leh, not like the 199 baht pair that my gf wears."
The next crime scene was at the Adidas outlet of Takashimaya.
Blundering-ryn struck at the counter while paying for a bday present for her friend. She handed the cashier her Nus-DBS debit card and acted yaya-papaya that she owns a Mastercard. When the cashier asked if she would prefer to pay by Nets or Master,
blundering-ryn did not hear clearly and cleverly guessed that the cashier was asking which mode of payment she would prefer. Acting even more yaya-papaya 'cos she had guessed the cashier's intention, she calmly replied, "Visa." The cashier held the Mastercard in his hand, and gave her a bewildered look. Luckily her already-red-faced bf was there to tell the cashier "Mastercard" and that saved her from further embarassment. After
blundering-ryn signed the receipt, the cashier even bothered to check the back of the card for a matching signature. An eye witness said that the cashier prob felt that
blundering-ryn was not the rightful owner of the card. There was no signature and so he asked her to sign on the back of the card. After matching the signatures, the cashier was trying hard to conceal his laughter. He practically had the ump cheo (secret smile) look, thinking in his mind "What a noob."
Police have warned that the public should keep a 1km radius of
blundering-ryn to avoid any physical, monetary, or face loss.
