Wow! I had my first marriage proposal today. One of the Pri 1 gal at my childcare centre asked me "Are you married? I want to marry you when i grow up." Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-bah! *proud look?*

Anyway my other Pri 1 kid, a boy, suddenly started paying alot of attention to his own physical appearance. He started gelling his hair, and even brought gel to the centre so that he can gel his hair after bathing! What was i doing to my hair in Pri 1?

Tomorrow is my faculty's enrollment day. Gonna go check out the new batch of gals. I'm drooling at the prospect already.. Haha..

Euro 2004 is bad. Especially when someone as cheapo as me who doesn't have SCV at home manage to find 2 M'sia channels and 1 Indo channel which effectively allows me to watch all the 31 matches without paying a single cent. I've been sleeping for about 3 hours a day, go to work like a zombie and oversleep on the bus almost every single bus trip (what is the probability of that when i have to take 3 buses to work?).

I had to teach my Pri 2 kid how to read the old fashion clock today. The digital watch is really killing today's kiddos. It took me great pains to teach her what is half past ten, quarter to two, etc. Nearly strangle myself..

Hmmm i think i miss the freedom i had. Everyday is a boring 9-6 job.. sigh.. can't wait for june to be over. I wanna go to the Wild Wild Wet at Downtown East, the wave pool at either CCK or JE swimming pool.. Oh well.. maybe i just wish i had more time for my bed.

My day started at 2 or 3pm 'cos that was the time i finally woke up. Yeah i say "finally" because i woke up much earlier to eat breakfast but then i fell asleep after that. =P

Watched the final episode of the OC. It was kinda sad. But afterall, the world is full of sad endings. Went to meet my old-friends for a mini gathering at Parkmall in the evening. I bumped into my friend from my faculty there. She was working in one of the shops. Talked to her for quite awhile, which must have been more than the amount we spoke to each other during the 2 sems in school. Gosh, she actually thought that i'm together with this gal whom she knows is already attached. She said "Got bf why cannot?" Woah.. she herself has a bf too if i'm not wrong.. is that a hint to me? I sure hope so, 'cos i think she's quite a hottie. Haha..

Yes i know you may be thinking that i'm such an ass. But you'll be surprised by the way gals think nowadays. Over dinner at Kublai Khan in Parkmall, one of the gals told all of us that its okay to fool around. And if any feelings are hurt, you just have to say "If u can't afford to play, then don't play in the first place!" Woah.. simply magnificent.

We went Holland V after that and saw Fann Wong walkin towards the carpark. Nothing special but just mentioning it 'cos all my friends were like 'WAHhhhhhhHHHhh....' Oh and i don't have to watch Euro 2004 at the coffeeshops anymore 'cos Malaysia's TV3 is showing the matches. YEEHA! That sure beats seeing Fann at Holland.

By the way, it's been damn long since i last hung out with that group of old friends. I really wish all of us have more time to hang out... sigh...

Yeah i'm gonna start fasting tonight. Gonna have an old-frens-gathering tml nite and we are gonna have dinner buffet at Kublai Khan Parkmall. I'm gonna starve all the way from now till tml so i wun waste my money. Haha sounds kinda yau kwee but if you're gonna spend that kind of money, you might as well fully utilise up to the last marginal propensity to consume. N i mean consume, literally. Haha..

Woah. Some gal from my JC is gonna get married. My fren's invited to it and she seems shocked. It all happened within half an hour after entering the 'Prison of Azkaban'. This son of a bitch, who happened to be the same sonofagun who bit me the other day, tried to make me fall off my chair. I was leaning forward and so my chair was on two legs, this brat sneaked up behind me and pulled my chair away. Luckily i didnt fall and land on my butt. I stumbled and got onto my feet almost immediately. Then i lost it. The next thing i know, i grabbed his neck. I regained my senses when i realised i was about to exert force. Please don't mess with me when i'm suffering from lack of sleep you lil brat.

Hey but i'm not your typical bully. It was the first time i actually fed a little kiddo today. This toddler was sticking to me like glue and refused to be fed by all the teachers. I made him stop crying, took out watever u call that thing they suck on, and started feeding him his food. And then the below conversation took place between me n another teacher....

Teacher: So, how come you're studying right now and you still have the time to come here?
Me: Oh its the hols. I'll be here till end of June.
Teacher: I see.. its rare to find a person like you who has the PASSION to tutor kids, take care of little kids and to feed them. Somemore you're a guy. You'll be a good father next time.

Yay! Not working tomorrow and thursday cos I'll be away for my faculty's FOC trial camp. Not really so exciting anymore cos someone's not going, but at least it'll be a good escape from the Prison of Azkaban. Haha.. I feel like Syrius Black. Raaaaaaaaaaa!

Had an exercise about identifying different shapes in the Pri 1 assessment book so i asked the three of them which shape they dislike the most. Turns out that the triangle got 2 out of 3 votes. Whats wrong with triangles? They couldn't offer me any explaination so i guess they were just going with their gut feeling.

Adults are weird. They seem to like triangles alot, especially in relationships. A female fren of mine who has been happily attached for 4 years asked me if she is losing her charms 'cos she hasn't had a suitor for quite some time. I guess a little triangle in a relationship can help the gal feel more sought after and make her partner double up his efforts to treat her better?

Just realised that today has been a very triangular day for me. The tau pok in my yong tau foo was triangular and so were the sandwiches i had for teabreak. Is this my fate?

Phew! Finally the weekend is here. I'm learning to cherish weekends more. Haven't really felt much of the impact of weekends ever since i left army 'cos everyday seemed like a weekend to me. Haha..

Watched 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' last nite. The cinema was so damn crowded with lil kids that i wonder what's the bedtime for kids nowadays. I used to be in bed by 10pm without fail every night when i was young.. if i do remember correctly. The show didnt really kick ass, maybe cos i was disappointed that they didnt have Cho Chang who is supposed to be this super chiobu and swept Potter off his feet on the Quidditch Pitch. Oh, and they only showed one Quidditch match when there was supposed to be like 3 or 4 in the story book. Damn.

Gonna go Holland V soon.. the beer at Breko is cheap, there are a lotta sight seeing at Holland V and i can take a break from my OC marathon.

6) They are fascinated with hairy legs (not the spider's).
7) They are so energetic and refuse to take afternoon naps (thus spoiling my chance of taking a nap)
8) 2pm is 4 hours away from 6pm.
9) The best way to pass time with kids is to play the game 'See-who-can-keep-quiet-the-longest'.
10)The record for that game stands at 3hr 15min which made it 45min more to the time for me to knockoff!
11)One of my best fren thinks our clique is drifting apart.

13)I gotta go for BRE FOC trial-camp on 9th and 10th. Took leave for it = no need to see the kids + gonna have fun

Just watched Cruel Intentions 3. Yup not sure if you guys caught the first installation of the movie which featured Sarah Michelle Gellar. This movie's just getting better and better, more and more complicated, more twists within more twists. Don't believe me? Let me summarise the show for you.

1) Guy A1 and A2 are roomies in hall. Gal B1 is this really stucked up hottie in school.
2) A1 and B1 made a bet to have B1 getting into Guy A3's pants within the week. They had a side bet that B1 won't be even able to bed A2 in the next 48hrs.
3) B1 and A2 $%^$#%$#@!$#@!%$$#%@

Argh. Its too difficult to summarise. The list of ppl goes on till abt A6 and B8. Go watch it yourself. Why isnt hall as complicated as this? Or are there lotsa stuff going on in hall that i do not know of?

What a tiring day. Couldn't fall sleep till bout 3+ am last nite cos i haven't been sleeping earlier than 4am for the whole hols. Got up at 7am n left my house at 730am to begin my long journey to Bt Panjang. Had to endure the 190 bus sitting beside a smelly worker (i'm trying hard not to say that he stinks cos he's an indian). PIE-BKE to Bukit Panjang exit never ever seemed so far to me before. =(

Upon arrival at the childcare centre, i was greeted by this huge glass door with pin number n card scanner. I was in awe. It was like the Prison of Azkaban, just that there weren't any Dementors standing guard. I learnt from one fellow teacher that its to prevent the kids from slipping out of the place.. Wow ain't the kids nowadays so intelligent? (But why do they spell 'EGG' as 'EEG'? And there's no need to borrow my fingers when u r doing addition of digits more than 10 u nimwit.)

I was proven wrong about the Dementors part later on. Dementors suck the happiness out of people.. well they do exist in the childcare centre. Who else but the kids? In a matter of time, i had kids' drool on my berms, tears on my tee, mucus on my palm and last but not least, a bite mark on my knuckle. Then during lunch time, a father came to visit his baby. He saw a little boy running towards me n hugging my thigh and he was like "ooh ur kid ar?". I was like "helloooooo.. i know how to use a condom lor!" Wad da hell are singaporeans thinking nowsadays?

Oh but i realised that i seldom get angry. Have u seen my angry side? The kids made me realise this.. cos i was told by a colleague to be firm with the naughty kids and so i tried to warn them by saying that i'll get angry. Instead, one of them laughed it off and said "You'll get angry one mehhhhhh?" Mehhhhhhhh your head u little imp, i would've smashed a bottle on your head if it ain't for the fact that it'll prob ruin my auntie's business. I'll get even with you for leaving your teeth marks on my knuckles one day i assure you. Bleh.

Thank god tml is Vesak Day and i don't have to go to work. Praise the lord (Buddha)! =P
