I was watching Fernando Alonso dominate the Australian Grand Prix this afternoon. It ended at 2 plus and I had to go on a site visit for one of my countless projects this sem.

Somehow I began daydreaming, perhaps due to the lack of sleep, and thought that I was driving a car with a 3 litre V10 engine. On TV, Alonso's car could hit 19000 rpm. I reved super hard and could only manage a mere 4000 rpm at most. I figured that I kept reving hard today 'cos I was inspired by F1 racing. That is not very fuel efficient.. tsktsk.

And then, it started raining when I was going home after my site visit. I remembered the F1 cars doing this quick zig zagging motion to warm their tires. Tires, apparently, have a better grip when its warmed up. And so do the brakes and suspension. I started thinking, "Hey i need to warm my tires too 'cos the rain causes my tires to have less grip." I started zig zagging on the road. *LOL*

Thus, I conclude that I will never attempt to drive immediately after watching F1 Grand Prix on Starsports. I think they left out the "Kids, please do not try this at home" warning before the programme started.
