I had a couple of dreams last night.
I was at some hotel lobby. I was with a few of my friends and we were supposed to be checking out. However, I was clutching something in my hand which I had bought for somebody and I was frantically looking for that person. It felt like if I didn't manage to pass the thing to her, I would never get to see her ever again. At that point of time, I thought I had a clear idea of who I was looking for. Then, the person I was looking for appeared out of a corner. It was dark. But from her silhouette, I realised that she isn't the person whom I thought I was looking for. But this silhouette indeed belonged to the person I was looking for, somehow I just knew.

I was hanging onto a monkey bar. The bars were damn thick and far away from each other. I had difficulty clinging on, let alone reach out for the next bar. I looked down and below me was the sea. It was dark and choppy, and seemed like it was gonna swallow me the moment I fall. I was trying my best to cling on, but in the end my fingers slipped and I fell (perhaps I haven't been exercising much lately thats y). I landed with a 'thud' instead of a 'splash'. I had fallen onto a soft ground. It was a green grassy ground. I thought I would have been swallowed up by the sea. Thats why I didn't wanna let go. Had I known that it would be soft green grass that I was gonna land on, I would've let go earlier without struggling and wasting my efforts.

Scientists have yet to conclude why people dream of the dreams that they dream. I also wonder why.
