**This is not a spoof**

Went Serangoon Gardens this afternoon to pick ryN* up after her DnD meeting. Drove down 'cos I have no idea how to get there by bus/train. By the time I got there, Pow Sing chicken rice was already closed. So sad man.. I was so looking forward to it. Felt damn disappointed so I just any-o-how walked to a random coffee shop and bought wanton noodle. While waiting for my wanton noodle, I ordered teh peng from the drinks stall. Guess what.. the auntie used a bartender's mixer/shaker/watever-u-call-that to shake my teh peng. Omg my teh peng was foaming lah and it cost $1.20. That's so ex! I can only remember the only teh peng to cost more than that is at Lau Pa Sat. At least its understandable at Lau Pa Sat 'cos its to rip tourists off.. but at a random coffeeshop at Serangoon Gardens?!?! Anyways, its the coffeeshop with the yellow signboard at the entrance of the carpark behind the bus-stop at the roundabout. Go try it if u want to. Abit too sweet though.

We went down to Chijmes after dinner to meet ryN*'s jc friends for some drinks. They are a rather fun and funny bunch of people. But the highlight of the night was taking pictures with ryN* in the middle of the Padang. Okay not really in the middle, 'cos 3/4 of the Padang is taken up by the stage and seats for NDP 05.

Oh wait, actually, the highlight of the night is the 25% discount at Mobil. My tank was running low and I pumped full tank. The feeling is incredibly shiok. Maybe I'm beginning to understand why gals are always so thrilled at MNG sale. Actually, gals are thrilled at EVERY sale. ryN* was telling her cousin just now that the Topshop sale isn't really that good. But here's a recap of what I did when ryN* was at Topshop on Monday: drank a cup of Mocha and read two magazines at Coffeeclub, and shopped at World of Sports & Sony. My goodness how can she have spent so much time there when she herself thought that the sale wasn't good??!?!?! Help lah.

Okay its sucha hot night. I gotta go shoot some hoops (on my PS2) in my air-conditioned room.
