Do people really know how to tell what's right and what's wrong? I think telling right from wrong is not as easy as it seems. Its almost as hard as spelling the word 'Millenium' (maybe its just me who has a prob with that word =P). Well, here are a couple of instances..
I'm sure everyone says that stealing is wrong. But why is Robin Hood a good guy? Just 'cos he steals from the rich to give to the poor?
And how about like if you steal somebody's gf. Although poor gal has a horrid bf and you are able to give her more happiness, isn't stealing somebody's gf wrong? Or isit that the folks who decide what's right n what's wrong interprete the above action as the gal leaving her bf for someone better and so it isn't wrong?
I apologise for having mental block right now and being unable to think of other instances other than stealing (but i'm sure there are many other instances). But the main thing is, who decides what is right and what is wrong?
Since young, people have been teaching us what's right n what's wrong. So where do they derive the idea of right n wrong from? The society they live in. Who decided that Christians cannot be with non-Christians? or Romeo cannot be with Juliet? or that, Abdul Nasir bin Muhammad, who stays above me can have four wives? Who says we can't have dessert first then main course then appetiser? Why do some people let a book, that has a 5 letter word for a name, rule their lives (no its not 8-days)?
Wanna know how I tell right from wrong? My policy is that as long as it does not harm others, it can't be wrong. But apparently the Siti, who gave me a ticket for not displaying enough parking coupons, thinks otherwise.
